If you thought denim had reached its peak - think again. It's ON in full swing and I see it evolving beyond the Fall19/20 shows. This "Blue Alchemy" concept is season-less in a way, because really - denim is season-less! What's important here is the attitude, the items and the non-denim they are paired with. The 80's are making a comeback with a vengeance lately and so is acid wash denim. Think anything BUT the classic denim jacket, think novelty, think volume, think zippers, think topstitching, think top to bottom denim with The Novelty Denim jacket as a star. Abstract prints & textures add to the head to toe denim look without the need of using the same fabric.

Below some IT denim jackets. You'll notice the Marc by Marc Jacobs denim jacket from his Fall 2001 show (bottom right). The denim from this show is so amazing - it haunts me to this day... and it's surprisingly relevant again.
